Description

ABOUT THIS COURSE

The Introduction to Travel Health Course comprises the two days of learning recommended by the RCN Competency framework publication and follows the curriculum for registered healthcare practitioners as described in the 'Good Practice Guidance for Providing a Travel Health Service' document from the Faculty of Travel Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.  The Ten Point Framework of topics for inclusion describing essential training for travel medicine can be viewed from page 33 of the publication (see the link above).

This e learning course will take you through these topics, and if you choose to explore all the material, it will increase your knowledge further and may take longer than a two day face to face training programme would have time for.

LENGTH OF TIME ALLOWED TO ACCESS THE COURSE

You will have EIGHT weeks to complete the course and explore all the resources if you wish to do so.  If you complete the training earlier than the eight weeks, you will continue to have access to the training until the expiry date.  Many downloadable resources are provided within the training for use in the future, in addition to multiple resources on Jane Chiodini’s website.

Therefore, please purchase the course when you know you are ready to start the training.  Please note, this course will be increasing in price from 1st July 2026.

This course was very informative and the resources are extremely useful. I particularly found the case studies helped put the learning into practice. I did find the parts where Jane is speaking hard to hear even on max volume. The male voice was loud and clear but I did struggle to hear Jane unfortunately. Nevertheless all the information written on the screen, all the video links and source material was very exhaustive and beneficial.
